The Virginia Donor Registry, DonateLifeVirginia.org, is maintained by Donate Life Virginia, a Virginia coalition of organ procurement organizations, eye banks, transplant centers and others committed to donation and transplantation, formerly known as the Virginia Transplant Council. Donate Life Virginia serves to save the lives of Virginians by working to increase the number of registered donors in the Commonwealth while promoting organ, eye and tissue donation and transplantation. Help Us Save Lives

The Virginia Donor Registry and Public Awareness Fund was established in 2009. Any applicant conducting a Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) transaction using electronic means may make a voluntary contribution to this fund. Contributions to this fund will allow Donate Life Virginia to continue to compile, maintain and modify the Virginia Donor Registry, as well as fund programs aimed at increasing organ, eye and tissue donations.
