Removing Yourself From the Registry

I Registered at the DMV

  • If you registered to be a donor with the Virginia DMV, you can remove yourself from the Virginia Donor Registry here.
  • When you renew your driver’s license or ID card, let the Virginia DMV know you are no longer a registered donor.

I Registered Online

  • If you registered to be a donor at DonateLifeVirginia.org, you can remove yourself from the Virginia Donor Registry here.
  • If you registered to be a donor at Registerme.org, you can remove yourself from the national registry here.

I Registered on my iPhone

If you registered to be a donor through your iPhone, you can remove yourself from the national registry with these instructions:

  1. Open your iPhone Health app
  2. Tap on Medical ID
  3. Tap on ‘edit registration’ to remove yourself
